I tried to replace my default username, but looks like I can’t find where to update it.

Changing profile image is straightforward and intuitive.

How do I change my forum name from User_1234567890?

This thread is for people that didn’t input their username when they signed up and were assigned a numbered named such as “User_1234567890”. If you signed up less than 3 days ago, you’re in luck as you can still change your username. In the top right corner click on your avatar image, there will then be a drop down of icons. Click on the bottom “Person” icon labed “Profile”. Then click on the “Gear” icon labed “Preferences”. This will open your profile page where you can change your username. …

If you missed the 3 day window to change your username there won’t be a pencil icon next to your username. As a mod I can offer you a one time change. Please post below what you would like your forum name changed to.

Thanks, Its a bit weird that I have to request a name change in a post. When is that going even going to happen, and it must be annoying for the mods to have to go through and look out to change the usernames all the time.
