In the Bambu documentation, it is shown that lubrication is needed for the pulley of the X axis, listed here:
The photo provided does make me somewhat confused. Usually I have learned that putting any oil on a rubber belt is dangerous as it may degrade the belt rapidly, or reduce the friction from the rubber. Am I interpreting this image correctly that oil should be applied onto the rubber and metal contact surface of the pulley?
I saw someone asked once in this thread, but there wasn’t any direct answer to the question either.
Is it instead better to try to lubricate the bearings underneath the outer surface of the idler pulley instead? Such as the gaps at the outer edges of the pulley guides. I own an oil tool with a fine needle tip that can do this, though it needs some precision and care to avoid oil leakage.
