Cloud outage?

Is the cloud currently down? My connection crapped out and the app is telling me “partial outage” for binding, cloud printing, and live view. is this something on my end, or are any other users getting this?

Yes same here - second time this week - seems Bambulabs should really work on service resilience very urgently - this is really very annoying…

Same here! Glad it’s not at my end, LOL!

Printer just went missing from Bambu Studio. Can’t connect. Checked everything, including network test from printer, and ping from comp.

Edit: Just tried unbinding printer, then re-binding via Handy app, getting error message “json parse err.” Not good. Need to print something…

It would be nice if the cloud wasn’t required for printing directly from Bambu Studio.

The fact that others are getting this is somewhat encouraging to me, since that lets me know it’s not my fail. But still, when i buy a tier1 machine that uses a cloud service, they could at least give me a $20 SD card for when they can’t support cloud stuff.

The X1C is excellent but absolutely let down by whatever POS Bambu is hosting on. All my printing presets got wiped this morning because of the outage, so without recreating all of them, I can’t even manually use an SD card to run a print…

Seemingly every time there’s an outage it’s right when I want to print.

Likewise, I’ve got the X1C and can’t print via the cloud. I tested network connection from the printer and it recognizes that the internet is connected but the app and studio tell me no printer connected. I was worried that it was only my machine but it seems like there are others experiencing the same thing, so hopefully bambu will implement a patch soon so we can get back to printing.

Same issue here. It was printing fine until yesterday. Today, no connection to the cloud. :(((

Yep…It’s dead. I think the slicer team needs to fix a few networking bugs. Like if the cloud goes out and responds with an unexpected error code, it shouldn’t decide to literally wipe all settings if automatic sync is on…

Same here. Have to print from SD care which is a pain and I can’t use my saved presets either as they disappeared!

why don’t you just use LAN only mode? you don’t need to be connected to the cloud, Set yourselves free!

Amen to that. I’ve about had it with this JV nonsense. Those fellas need to get it together. It’s like they’re rookies or something.

I think they should also update the status page and get rid of the word “Minor” from the little error message if the ability to print is impacted. It is a printer company so I feel like it’s a regular outage, not a minor one if none of their products work as designed due to the outage.

Well if it is back up things got fubar here … my printer is unbound, and timing out trying to rebind it

Yes, that is the other option (+ microSD printing), however handy App doesn’t work without the cloud connection.
