Color lithophanes? Check out our new CMYK Filament Bundle

I don’t see a video at all, and the wiki instructions do not mention a selection for the pulldown. All of the selections in the pulldown are CMYK, so “just the CMYK pallet” is all of the palletes, which one?

My question was why Bambu Lab made such an exceptional effort on a new launch but didn’t do the most basic thing of reaching out to the author in advance to ensure it would have been supported.

I was clicking around the site. Their YouTube is nice too.

I think it could have been explained a little better from the Bambu Labs side.

All in all, it looks fairly strait forward.

I am fairly sure Bambu Labs was working on this for a good bit, so why the instructions are not written better I’m not sure.

That said, click around a bit, tons of info available on the site.

Are there settings available for the P1P (making one in a single color) ?

I just tried it with the settings here in the wiki for a color lithopane, but that has a 0.2 x1 nozzle.
I changed all other settings in my P1P in accordance to the screenshots for the X1 but the test print just gave a bunch of fine spaghetti :frowning:

I think that would be one of the worst matches, both the white and magenta from that profile would be very different from the Bambu filament.

If you were going to use that profile the White PLA tough would be a better match.

The way I see it, just 4 of the Bambu filament spools would cost me $48+shipping. I got 4 rolls of filament and an led panel for $50. No brainer. Wish I hadn’t missed the nozzle bundle…

Could be but I ran through the entire process using that profile (all except for the actual printing) and the results looked pretty cool. But, who knows, the printed result could of been horrible.

What was this? I ordered the bundle and a seperate 0.2 nozzel.

Also, I agree, worst case for me is I have 4 reusable rolls and some extra filament that’s bright and fun for summer.

I think the lithophanes will be fun though.

I so sad that this bundle is sold out. I would love to try it! I hope the deal will be offered again!

Since it sold out so quickly, I imagine it will be offered again soon. At least now you get to wait to see how it turns out for others before investing the money. I have a print ready to go once the stuff arrives and I will post it here.

Here is the pic I am using. Lots of colors for a first try…

Any chance you could provide the stl file for the frame that is in the 3mf file? The stl file that is listed is of a different frame. I want to print it with wood PLA that is set up on a non-bambu lab printer.

Was it really $50 for the bundle earlier?? Looks like its $99 now… that would have been a steal and no brainer as you said!

Ordered mine yesterday. Great bundle idea! Thanks. How about some test files to try out?

No. My math was that the spoolholders alone would cost $48, and I need more anyways.that meant I essentially paid $50 for the rest of the items.

I think the post meant that when you factor the cost of the reusable spools these come on, the filament and light are the remaining $50.

So, essentially you’re getting 4*1kg of filament and a light for $50.

I just looked at it like this, it’s 4 filaments, 4 more spools, and one light for $100. That’s a hell of a deal.

yup. i don’t even care about the led panel, but my wife will make something out of it!

4 PLA Basic with spool is normally $28 a spool. 4 PLA Basic refill is $25 4x$25 =$100 4x$28= $112. You get this bundle for $100 and they come on spools. So that is $12 savings when you buy the bundle. No way did he get for $50 4 spools of filament period from us.

Gotcha, and you’re 100% correct. $99 still seemed like a killer deal and I already snagged one of these. Pretty sweet!

Yep $99 is already a great deal for the materials alone, plus the tools at hand to do something useful with it right out the gate. I’m thrilled!

I think there’s some confusion here. What do you mean the spools are not reusable? Do you mean not refillable?
I think bambu only sells filament on spools that are refillable, i.e. that twist apart.
I might go to say all spools are reusable. Do you know of any self destructing spools or wind once only spools? Lol

Seen this asked before, I’m just gonna add it too:

Will we be able to order extra light boards soon? Any idea how much they will sell for in the EU?
