OK, I’ve googled it, and I still don’t know what a “Kit Card” is! What is it?
It’s kind of like the junk that used to come in cereal boxes. Random pieces you can snap together to make something and then throw away when you finish your breakfast.
The Cadillac version would be a GI Joe vehicle. They came in a bunch of snap together sheets. You’d break them apart and create a tank, or truck and then spend the afternoon making vehicle noises while you destroyed Cobra. (yeah I’m old)

From some of the models I’ve seen uploaded lately its any other model on the site that now has a thin perimeter added to it and a few lines between the item. 
There is too much spam in the contests. They are used to advertise models that often have nothing to do with the topic of the contest. It would be good if Makerworld cleaned up the contests of unrelated models as soon as possible.
Of the 20 newest designs currently in the Kit Card Design Contest, just a third are real kit cards.

We love these contents but as a business we can’t get out a design quick enough! By that we mean quick enough with actual quality… Please start overlapping the lengths and build actual quality submissions.
Also when can we look forward to new reward options? Were kinda sitting with a $40 gift card being the best and only real viable option right now…

The schedule was posted 19 days ago, was plenty of time for me to make some entries.
And what kind of rewards are you hoping for? A larger gift card is all I can think of.
Clearly you must be on a different level of modeling. Were a small team operating a business, building and renovating a shop all while maintaining concurrent customers. I don’t see much time to fit modeling for a contest in our schedules. I also don’t see a huge need for them to keep contests going for a 3 week span… Soon it’ll be the same or they’ll run out of ideas. This is our opinion also so by no means am I trying to be rude about it.
As for rewards, I was thinking the opposite. Smaller increment gift cards in $5 and $10 options maybe even a $15. Then adding maybe some option for a free spool of filament (certain type) then a (pick any). I mean to have 1 option be the best which is the current $40 just has people flooding models regardless of function or quality just to get it… Spread out and provide a variety, why not?

You upload your design and after that go on the contest and join . It will show you the design you can add in compete .
I for one plan to post two versions, one with a frame (for gifting) and one without.
A board game contest would be fun

Hi all,
We’ve decided to advance our Easter Design Contest to start this week rather than next week to give our designers and makers more time to design and prepare for the upcoming festival. Don’t worry about not having enough time as the Easter contest will conclude right before Easter so you will have almost a full month to submit your designs. As a result, the bathroom accessories & organization contest will be postponed to start next week.

Frankly, @MakerWorld, this dude, 3D Prince | Published - MakerWorld, @devonth, should be removed from the kit card contest and at least temporarily banned from entering future contest.
I mean seriously, he went around spamming other contestants telling them their entries weren’t valid for the competition. It did create confusion amongst creators. Thankfully word got out that this dude was doing this, and people started pushing back.
At this point, the dude muddied the waters heavily. I doubt he’d ever win, but he should be removed completely for trying to unduly influence the competition and dissuade the competitors.
This guy’s actions are completely against what these competitions are about, which is to create fun and interesting things! To help bring more life to this platform! (It may be about winning for certain individuals, but let’s be realistic, the competitions are about inspiring new design and the creation of models to help bring more to the platform)

How can we understand the starting time of the contests? I think a few times it was 0:00 CST. Would be nice to know.
