Was thinking the same thing, the timing feels different for this one. A timezone/timestamp included in post would be helpful.

I just wonder about the opening day announcement.
Where is the reference time zone?
I have a sugestion: why not implement a countdown minutes remaining of the contest opening? So, like that it would be same for everyone and everywhere in the world. It is just an idea of mine.

Thks. But, about the future contest? Like eg. Easter contest. Suppose to be on march 8th, right? Is not yet there. How do i know?

It looks like the start time is localized since mine says 11:00 instead of 17:00. I do like the idea of a countdown timer. I’ve been refreshing the page every hour this morning

Probably it depends on which time zone is set in the account settings.

yes and no. it seems like they changed a setting in their backend. previously all the releases where at 5 p.m. (17 Uhr) and this was also tagged to the contest. maybe they just changed the locale of their server because now it’s 11 a.m… …we will see - hopefully the announcement is coming soon otherwise I doubt that I get the chance for uploading today…
Maybe it is just me. But, I noticed that in the past, it was never the same time. Maybe, I am wrong. But, with the countdown, i believe that all of our doubts about time will be gone.
I think the real contest is who can get the first entry. 
11:08 EST and still no contest.

Shouldn’t the Easter Contest be live at this point, or in which time zone are we counting? 
According for it was announced by makerworld before. It should be already on. But, something might happened. I am also waiting for more updates too.

Thanks for all your suggestions and advice. Our contests time usually starts and ends according to the GMT+8 Time zone. We will add this to our contest page soon. The countdown clock sounds like a good idea and we are happy to add this feature in the future. As for our Easter Contest, we are making some final adjustments to our contest banners and will become live as soon as possible.
We appreciate your concerns and can’t wait to see all of your entries!
