Has anyone managed to talk to someone from customer services lately, I’ve tired web chat but was number 179 in the que !!! and after an hour I was number 178 !!! so gave that up as hopeless, tired submitting a ticket 4 days ago and all I’ve had back is the auto response blah blah blah we will get back to you in 1 to 3 days… Well that never happened ?! This is very concerning as it is putting me off buying anything from them at the moment since they switch couriers from dpd (always 2 to 3 days) to yodel (package never turns up and you can’t get hold of them either!) It’s one thing to lose the money on a couple rolls of filament but when your dropping over a grand on a printer that’s another story…!!
They are probably feeling very overwhelmed right now by the flood of scammers on Bambu and MakerWorld. Annoying, but just stay calm. Sure, it’s annoying.
- Important: continue to use the ticket function as you are already doing. Chat is often ineffective.
- Instead of opening new tickets, keep reactivating old ones to create a complete chronicle.
- The tracking number from the parcel delivery service is your friend. You can also contact this customer service.
- Be protected by your payment service provider. If you use PayPal, for example, your money will never be lost in such cases.
What you haven’t done yet, but is just as important: describe the problem. Often, the community can help. I cannot stress enough how important it is to describe a problem directly and in detail right from the start.
I understand your rant comment in this section, but it won’t help you with your problem, even if a Bambu employee looks at it. You should at least write down what the problem is and what you would like to see as a solution (without mentioning any private details).
I have given everything to them logs, photos, serial number, as I’m an IT person, so I can log a ticket well, lol.
What scammers are you referring too?
This has been going on for about three weeks now and is keeping Bambu very busy. Hundreds of bots and scammers
To the businesslizards, one makes them money, the other is a cost center to minimize. Their little “number go up” brain is in full control
This exactly. It has cousins in anything that doesn’t directly generate revenue like computer security. Management loves to short that big time because it’s just outgo to the management types. They don’t seem to understand that big company embarrassments can cost sales too.
It never ends. I grew to detest myopic moronic managers. There’s way too many of them.
Generalities though and I have no idea if this is an issue at Bambu. It just rang like something I’ve seen a number of times in my career.
