Design flaws Bambu Lab should fix

Let’s add the Nozzle Blocker issues to the H2D design flaws. Mine crashed last night on the new firmware-introduced parking issue, where starting a print with the right nozzle after running a print with the left nozzle previously, results in an automatic crash at the purge area, folding the nozzle blocker back on itself, then heading off to lay waste to the build plate.

I almost feel compelled to delete the nozzle blocker after this one, it put some serious damage into the smooth build sheet, and wouldn’t have occurred in previous firmwares. Quite the oversight, and a serious blow to confidence for the H2D as a consistent performer at getting jobs done autonomously.

another account 3 days ago of this issue: Nozzle blocker bent

my firmware during this incident is H2D 01.02.02.00 (20251105)

Note: I don’t think there is anything wrong with the hardware, even though the nozzle blocker itself does increase risk and requires strict programming in the back end to mitigate that risk. This is ultimately a firmware/software problem from where I’m standing, not a hardware design issue or defect.
