I mentioned the same thing elsewhere on this forum.
The problem can be easily solved by determining the envelope of the model(s) on the plate and if it fits within the A1 mini footprint (or could be if automatically moved) then it should be supported.
You may not realise the A1 (not mini) profile issue either.
If you create a profile using an A1 (not mini) it is NOT compatible with ANY other printer BL sells.
The reason is it has the largest footprint of ANY BL printer. It is bigger than the P & X series. This is due to the P & X series having a non-printable region.
For this reason, if you own an A1 and generate a profile, anyone with an A1 mini, P or X series can’t print it, even if the model is a 1mm cube.
Until BL uses my 'envelope" logic in their slicer for compatibility, you will see models that weirdly show a single compatible printer.
I did as well.
They try to grab the bounce in downloads due to the extra promotion.
I also include in my reporting scripts (I have a few pre-rolled) that BL must remove and points generated since the model was added to the contest as they must be assumed to have been fraudulently gained.
