Disturbing click when calibrating

Hi everyone,

I got my first Bambu P1S this week. The first prints look great, but every time extruder drives in the front right corner close to the walls, there is a single disturbing click. It is not on the glass plate.

This happens during calibration and when I change the filament. Is that normal, I don’t want to ruin my printer?

Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum.

Are you able to provide a video of when the click happens?

The print head does activate the filament cutter but this happens when it is in the front left corner when looking at the door side of the printer.

I had to finish the last print first. The picture below is the moment of the first click.

Right after giving the command to start the print, the plate moves up and down a bit, then the extruder head moves to the front and it clicks.

What is the best way to insert a video in the forum?

In the meantime, I found the solution in the German section of the forum. It seems to be all alright.

Is it the cable chain hitting the side of the enclosure? As I have noticed when I do calibration on my P1S the cable chain hits the side of the enclosure
