Does AMS list PETG HF as "PETG" or "PETG HF"?

I’ve been trying PETG HF in my printers. While the AMS recognizes it and I can select the “Bambu PETG HF” filament profile in Bambu Studio, I’m wondering if it shows up as “PETG” or “PETG HF” when viewing the AMS status in Bambu Studio for you?

It’d be helpful to know what type of PETG it is if there are different filament profiles. In my experience, I’m seeing “PETG” regardless of whether it’s PETG Basic, PETG HF, etc.

In this screenshot, A1 and A2 are PETG Basic and A3 and A4 are PETG HF.

Hi AdamZ,

I have the same question. Because there are no answers in your thread yet, do you get the answer from another source?

Still waiting for someone to post a reply.

PETG Basic and PETG HF are the names of materials, while PETG is the category of materials. A material category may contain many different material names, so they will be uniformly classified under the material category. The category names will also be displayed in the printer or Studio. If you want to view the specific material names, you can click on the icon of the [Eye] to view the specific material names

That’s a great tip! Thanks for sharing.

I can see the specific name of the the material (ex. PETG HF) by clicking on the eye icon. That solves my problem!

It would still be nice to have the option of showing the specific name of the material without having the clicking the eye icon. I could see this leading to accidentally printing with the incorrect material.
