ELEGOO Rapid PETG Filament

After lots of tinkering, I think I finally found the right settings for Bambu A1 with 0.6 nozzle and ELEGOO Rapid PETG Filament. Sharing these settings for anyone who will be doing a search.

I know this is an old thread… But I am quite new to 3d printing, and Bambu printers. (Got an a1 mini to see if I like it, running it 20 hours a day, so pretty soon going to pick up a p1s big brother to it).

I really like the pricepoint on this Elegoo Rapid PETG, and SUPER appreciate your settings above. Thanks!

The only part I dont understand is about committing the K Value to G Code. Is that something that one needs to do even if I create a save a custom filament profile based on your settings? I did some googling, and I am not understand where in the G Code you insert M900 k0.03, and if its even needed.

Thanks anyone who can help a guy out!

Sure, I started with the Generic PETG Settings and I set the following:
Diameter 1.75 (No change)
Flow Ratio 0.95 per the calibration
Density 1.27 (No change)
Softening Temp, I raised to 91
Recommended nozzle Temp min: 230 max 260 per label on the spool
Nozzle: Initial Layer: 255 Other Layers: 255 (No change)
all build plates except for cool plate: Initial layer: 82 Other layers:80
Max Volumetric speed: raised to 24 (per flow rate test results)

I made no changes to the cooling tab or setting overrides tab
I did add: M900 k0.03 to the bottom of the Filament G-code to ensure the calibrated K value is used because I have not yet created a new custom filament in the custom filament section for this.

I have printed multiple spools of elegoo rapid petg and I have found out the perfect settings for me. I uploaded the print profile settings to makerworld help others save some time and nerves

THIS IS AWESOME, THANKS SO MUCH! Really appreciate this.

My settings for white Elegoo Rapid PETG is temperature set to 230 - 235C.
K factor in 0.030 and flow rate configured to to 16 mm3/s by Bambustudio (after calibration). I print with those settings without issues.

I did also the max. flow rate test, everything was good up until 23-24mm3/S depending on configured temperature. I did also check for line width and how shiny or mat the filament was, therefore those numbers. However, printing times differ only slightly (10-15 minutes) from calibrated values by Bambustudio (16 mm3/s), therefore I still use the lower ones.

I noticed your printprofile disappearing. I’ve been using it and getting a feel for if I like it or not, any reason why it is gone from MakerWorld?

I was using your settings as well. Sucks they took them down.

Could you post screenshots of them here?

Can you upload your settings so that we can all use it? I’m still trying to dial in Elegoo Rapid PETG to work with my X1C.

I have the .3mf files from Makerworld, both PLA & PETG in a .zip file. Anyone who wants them can msg me their email address and I will send it to you.

This is crazy clear, do you have the 3mf file by any chance?

Can you post the link here?

What link? The file is a zipfile on my hdd.

I send you a message mlbower.

Got it. Check your email.

Can I have the files to please? Thanks.

Hey! I would also love to have the files. Thanks!

I copied the settings over to my X1C based on the file and it’s been printing perfectly. I like Elegoo Rapid PETG but I wish it wasn’t so glossy. The Inland (Polymaker OEM) branded PETG printed way more matte in comparison but much slower and is also more expensive.
