Anyone else having failed prints due to the tape at the end of the rolls getting caught in the ptfe tube.
I’m the last 3-4 months. I haven’t had a single roll that let the filament run out sensor trip.
The all hold the filament so well that the extruder strips the filament and then stops extruding. Resulting in the printer not extruding.

If you do a search here, this has been a real bone of contention because Bambu changed suppliers mid-stream earlier this year and their new manufacturer has applied tape to the end of spools causing no-end of problems with AMS users. What’s more, there have been ample reports here by the community of mixed inventory whereby you may have some spools that have this flaw and others that don’t. How do you know in advance? You don’t, it just wrecks your machine and complaining to Bambu appears to have no results. Maybe you might be the one who has better luck when you open a ticket and complain. 
So far, nobody has been lucky. 
Well that’s sad to hear.
I just bought 5 refills and I won’t be buying more.
Probably going to switch to Polymaker as I don’t use AMS
