Excessive Flushing Volumes?

Im just using the default flushing volumes - do they seem OK?

I noticed in a recent print that going from red to blue, for instance, doesn’t fully flush through and I get a little red on the print before the blue starts… I was going to increase the by 50 or so to see if it makes a difference?

In essence what’s the baseline and how should one determine flushing volumes?

Thank you

This is something you should experiment with.

I often change the multiplier factor between 0.5 and 0.8.

This may mean you get unwanted colour bleed, but, with experimentation on your filaments, you will never make it to values that work best for your materials.

They seem relatively normal for default values to me.
Figuring out the necessary values is a sensible thing to do. → Pigment loading and color dominance are no linear functions.

If you are inclined, besides others, there are my calibration methods

(which is my favorite) and
