Well, the subject says it all.
Is there any way to kinda export all settings for the filaments so I can import it into OrcaSlicer?

Studio and Orca-Slicer both use the same filament and process profiles stored in the Bambu “cloud”. If you don’t see your custom Studio settings in OrcaSlicer, log out, then log in again to force them to sync up.
Some settings may not appear because the two slicers support different features.
No. They are in %AppData%\Roaming\BambuStudio\user\ [NUMBER] \filament and when u use OrcaSlicer, they are in %AppData%\Roaming\OrcaSlicer\user\ [NUMBER] \filament
Studio and OrcaSlicer do keep local copies in that location, but if you make changes in one slicer, the cloud can keep the profiles for other slicer in sync.
I just uninstalled Studio, and OrcaSlicer, and all registry entries for those programs. C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\OrcaSlicer and C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\BambuStudio did not exist.
I downloaded and installed a fresh copy of OrcaSlicer v 1.6.4-beta. The Roaming folders for OrcaSlicer were created but were empty.
I logged in and agreed to
I downloaded and installed a fresh copy of Studio 1.7.2.51, again agreeing to sync from the Bambu Cloud. Again, all of my profiles became available, including the newly created (in Orca) “Test” filament profile.
There is no need to manually copy, export, or import .json files to share profiles between Studio and OrcaSlicer if you agree to sync through the Bambu cloud.
You all speaking about Windows. Under macOS, everything looks a bit different.
The profile storage locations will be different on a Mac, but the Mac versions of Studio and OrcaSlicer should still use the same cloud-stored profiles without any need for you to manually export them.
I tried that as Bambu recently added Overture to their standard filament definitions. And I can add Overture to my filament selections in the Studio.
However in Orca, after logging out, logging in, getting the dialog you show above and saying Yes, Add ilament still does not show Overture as an option, as it does in Studio.
Orca:
Bambu:
For me that works, I can see the Overture filament option.
However, I always experience another problem. I can’t get that Overture (I use "Overture Matte PLA Black) printed. The filament constantly breaks inside the extruder. I used a new, sealed roll and I dried it before use for 8 hours in the oven at 65 degree celsius.
Any idea?
I can see the seven new filaments from the 1.7.0.18 BBL configuration update in Studio, but do not see any of them in OrcaSlicer.
I also do not see them in “C:\Program Files\Bambu Studio\resources\profiles\BBL\filament” where all of the other default profiles are stored, and I have not located .json files for the new filaments anywhere else.
For now, I don’t have any of those filaments. If you do, I’d suggest editing the filament in Studio and simply saving it with a new name. That will make it a user profile and it will be available in OrcaSlicer.
Perhaps future Studio (and OrcaSlicer) updates will include these filaments in the defaults.
EDIT: This suggestion may not work. Synching filament profiles is not working as expected today.
I’m finding that user filament preset changes in Orca 1.6.6 are available in Studio 1.7.4.52.
User presets created or edited in Studio are NOT reflected in Orca, but I can delete a user profile in Studio and it is also gone from Orca.
Logout/login, restarting both programs, removing/reinstalling both programs had no effect.
I’ve updated both Studio and OrcaSlicer in the past week, without changing any presets, so I don’t know which update changed the sync behavior.
Currently, I do not have the time (or need) to investigate further, so will leave this for another day.
OrcaSlicer V1.7.0 Beta Release was issued three days ago. It includes changes from Bambu Studio 1.7.4 and now Orca also has the new filaments.
I installed it today.
All my custom filament profiles disappeared - hours and grams of material and calibration.
Opening a single simple STL file immediately generated a purge/wipe tower on the Prepare tab too. Disappeared when I sliced though.
Hours of recalibration of many filaments to be e-done again now.
Not happy.
Log out, restart slicer, log in, agree to sync profiles.
Hello @cl33 please contribute your awesome filament preset collection to User Presets Collection on GITHUB , thanks !
