I thought that was the whole point of this?
Adding requests related to Bambu Studio directly on Github gives our developers direct access to all of the requests and bugs reported. It is the best way to share ideas or issues.
In regards to this request - it has been taken note of, and it is on the list of future development, but it does not have an exact timeline for when it will become available.
I thought something like this would be relatively easy to do, a drag and drop idea anyways
+1 please add… I needed this feature today
Please! Yes, I’m glad it’s taken note of but that really requires a timeline for it to be real
+1 to this feature request. It would be a tremendous timesaver for me in many circumstances.
+1 please add this feature… I needed this today
It doesn’t deal with renaming the plates. On project that I have (20+ plates) it’s a pain to deal with this. Sorting in the “Objects” tab would make this a 30 second job.
In the meantime, I hadn’t noticed it before but I just used the Orca feature that lets you “Move plate to the front”. Not sure if Bambu Studio has it or not. With strategic moves, you can re-order as needed. If you have 12 plates, you may have to click 11 times but it’s still pretty quick overall.
I have not seen this in BambuStudio. Where in Orca is this?
Was quite surprised this was not built in, so I’m adding vote for a feature request for sure !
Ditto for a request here as well. I’m frankly surprised this hasn’t happened yet.
I just got the update and still not implemented. From what I have read this request has been requested since last year Jan 2024. Crazy. I was searching a way to do it and fount this site. Hopefully, this will get done in my life time. Pretty please with sugar on top.
dude this needs to be made. bambulab is behind orca on this. not good
Please add:
- Reorder Plates and
- Reorder Filaments to Bambu Studio.
These are a must have for models with multiple parts.
Also, either bring back the ability to edit project information OR provide the ability to add notes to Plates. An area for including instructions is a must for multi-part models.
