Filament Buffer questions

My P2S has AMA 2 Pro and two AMS-HT, I’m adding TPU assist and wanted to “clean up” the tubes and 6 pin connections.

  1. My first question was whether it matters if the AMS Pro 2 could be in the upper or lower input - installation instructions show the Pro in the bottom input. However, does it matter and why?
  2. I will be using either the current 4 in1 or a new 2 in1 to feed the filament buffer.
  3. I will be using a 2 in 1 adapter for the printer input to have a dedicated tube for TPU. It’s easier to feed the assist from the 2nd 6 pin feed of AMS Pro via 6-4 adapter.
  4. This then leaves the 2nd 6 pin on the filament buffer free to feed the AMS-HT’s.
  5. With the AMS Pro and HT’s connected, the display panel shows all 6 spools and still has an icon for EXT. How would it know if I ever connect an external spool via the 4in1
  6. The I read this in the P2S FAQ.
Q: The buffer of the P2S has two 6-pin ports on top. Does it support connecting two AMS/AMS 2 Pro/AMS HT units simultaneously?

The buffer does not support using two 6-pin ports to connect AMS/AMS 2 Pro/AMS HT units at the same time. One of the ports is a spare port, used for power supply and communication expansion of devices (e.g., time-lapse photography kits).

Why? I have been using them for the AMS-HT’s without issue. Is this just some out-of-date item or?

Finally, how to delete the video files in the onboard P2S memory - Wiki only addresses USB and AI Assistant just links to that article. I did leave a comment in Wiki.

Sorry for all the questions
