Filament-Ende

Habt ihr auch das gleiche Problem mit den neu gelieferten Ersatzfilamenten ohne Rolle?
Bei mir ist das Ende der Filamente mit einem Stück schwarzem Isolierband niedergepickt. Kommt jetzt der Drucker zum Ende dieses Filaments, reißt er dieses komishce Isolierband mit und versucht, es in die Aufnahmestelle einzuziehen. Das führt regelmäßig dann dazu, dass ich mühevoll das wieder herausoperieren muss, einen Ersatzteil ahbe ich schon verbraucht. Es ist extrem ärgerlich, wenn man die Fehler der Hersteller mit der eigenen Arbeitszeit verbringt. Kann man irgendwie den Herstellern dieser Filamente beibringen, dass sie dieses schwarze ISolierband weglassen? Wie kann man das denen beibringen?

Tape at the end of spool

Can you stop taping the carbon fibre filament to the cardboard spools please? It doesn’t function in the AMS correctly when it runs out. Not only does it jam the AMS, it prevents the AMS from automatically switching to another spool [PXL_20230514_121708948]

Ich denke, dass diese Meldung hier wohl am falschen Ort ist. Oder lesen die Hersteller der Filamente hier mit?
Im Übrigen rede ich von PLA-Filamenten, ob das bei anderen Filamenten auch so ist, weiß ich nicht.

Warum kann ich hier nur Antworten und keine neuen Theman erstellen. Wo ist ein Deutsche FAQ dazu ?

Hab ich auch ewig gesucht. Ganz links oben steht “Themen”, dort klickst du drauf, dann kommt rechts oben ein + neues Thema und dort klickst du wieder drauf.

Some from Bambu occasionally respond here but posting is no guarantee they will see something or respond to it. If you file a trouble ticket it does go into their system.

If you file a ticket for the tape issue and detail how it broke the AMS they may replace the parts and give you a spool of filament. They were doing that for a while at least. But take photos and they also want the spool serial number from the box.

Last I saw they think the tape method is now optimized and show no sign of securing the tail any other way. There’s lots of taped rolls out there and not just PLA. Unattended spool failover in the AMS is now “iffy”. Heat during filament drying seems to set the tape where it holds onto filament more with more peeled tape the result. There’s also probably tape versions 1, 2, etc still in the supply chain that are basically guaranteed to fail.

There is a print at Makerworld that uses tension on the filament in the AMS to cut the strand and there’s good reports on it. See the other thread for details.
