Filament feeding outside of tubing

A new way for prints to fail, for us anyway. Feeds filament underneath the AMS instead of into the tubes. Anyone seen this?

It’s super awesome that they deliberately made the cables so short that trying to plug them back in requires previously undiscovered profanity.

It is actually not that hard to take those connectors off and to get them on again.
You just need tiny hands, preferably made from very flexible material LOL
Seriously though, for the sake of literally a few cents?
10cm more would not hurt, considering we are meant to fix our printers rather than a qualified technician in a store…

Holy cow, the PTFE was split! I didn’t know that was a thing, especially since I only print PLA. Better stock up.

Also, I would gladly pay for extender cables for the AMS if anyone makes them.
