I ordered 7 spools a week ago (all In-Stock at the time). Never shipped. Got an email yesterday that PETG-HF would not be back in stock until June (its April 16th now) and would I like to wait or cancel the PETG portion. Been asking them 3 days previously to ship what they have and send the rest later. They agreed but never did. This is the 3rd order with them this year with shipping/delivery issues. So I’ve given up and cancel the whole order. Going elsewhere for filament where keeping it in stock is a priority instead of an afterthought.
If anyone has recommendations for 3rd party brands that work well in the standard AMS, please let me know.

You can get most filament brands working in AMS by printing spool adapters and spacer rings. Ive been lately buying azurefilm and extrudr. Azure works fine as is. The extrudr spools hold 1100g of stuff, so theyre a bit tight for the first 50-100 grams. Sunlu, with their latest gen spools are direct match too. Esun needs an adapter to roll properly.
I don’t think this was mentioned here in this megathread but I’ve produced a history tracker for filament stock levels and such. Tracks all non-China Official Bambu Store regions. It doesn’t do notifications but it does other things.
It has been useful for me as I’m not a heavy 3D printer but just someone who got fed up last holidays about not being able to make a reasonable bulk purchase. I’ve noticed from logs that a few institutions and shared lab or workshop spaces seem to like it, probably due to Bambu probably being on a qualified vendor list or maybe being able to actually use RFID to idiot proof filaments in a shared workspace.
I’ve posted this a few times on reddit but haven’t here. Better late than never. I figure if one is particupating in this thread, they should know about it. The history of the stock levels for different filaments is an eye opener.
As for observations from it, yeah, PETG is hot. Much of PETG Basic has been staying in stable stock pretty well compared to PETG HF so if that was Bambu’s way of trying to saitiate the desire for PETG, I think it might be working.
Out of curiosity, I asked my coding agent to see what your chances were to get them all in bulk with the filament store tracker’s database. I know it’s been nearly 30 days since so there’s hindsight. But oddly enough, there was an overlap period where all the filaments were in stock!
I checked the EU store history for these exact six items over the last two months, and the honest answer is: yes, it is possible to catch them all for the bulk order, but it’s rare and you probably have to move fast when it happens.
In the EU data from 2026-02-21 through 2026-04-21 UTC, all six were in stock together only 107 times out of 2,839 snapshots, so roughly 3.8% of checks. There was real overlap, though. The best recent window was from 2026-04-10 12:09 UTC to 2026-04-11 09:08 UTC, which means all six were available together for about 21 hours. So it’s not hopeless, but it also isn’t something that stays open for long very often.
That’s the other important part: these restocks tend to disappear quickly. Looking just at these six items, the typical in-stock run was only about 1 hour, and most restocks were gone within 6 hours. Even for the rarer “all six at once” case, the median overlap window was only about 1.5 hours. So the issue is not just waiting for a restock, it’s that when the cart finally lines up, it often doesn’t stay lined up for very long.
If you want the best odds of actually getting the bulk discount, Matte Terracotta (11203) looks like the easiest one to let go. Keeping all six only lined up 3.8% of the time in the last two months, but dropping Terracotta alone raises that to 7.8%. If you’re open to dropping two, the best-performing pair to cut was Terracotta + Bone White, which raises the overlap rate to 16.3%. So if you want the best practical chance of checking out successfully, that’s the compromise the EU data supports most strongly.
PS. Don’t get that scraper, get the big pile of orange blade plastic ones. They don’t hurt your plate and they’re still sharp enough to get prints off without damage.

I wouldn’t go overboard stocking up on the replacement (PETG Basic) until you try it out though. A number of us don’t like it.
