Filament No K Numbers Printed on calibration

In the past I printed with esun and just used the generic settings.

I bought some prusament and have problems with the layers. So I calibrated the printer and also tried to calibrate the filament to find the K value. But the numbers are not printed. It looks like the printer prints the numbers not on the plate, but in the air. The lines are printed correctly but I have no clue what number is associated which what line. So I wonder what’s wrong with that…

Is there a normal process to determine some basic parameters for new fillament?

Does the “P1P” have “extrusion calibration” like the X1C does?

If so, that’s what it’s actually doing; finding the K value.

Hey!
Yes it has extrusion calibration. I press calibrate and the calibration lines and numbers should be printed like in this example:

But only the lines are printed. The numbers that are associated with the lines are not. Also, it seems that the line count has changes in the last updates, since the amount is much higher as in all the images I could find.

I am currently just Testing different values but the first layer currently looks like this:

Oh, I didn’t mean the extrusion calibration calibration print, but just the one embedded into the printer itself, where it prints 5 or so lines near the front of the plate, without numbers. This might be a X1-only thing.

Ah sorry - no it does not have the LIDAR test.

Right - this is why for the P1P there’s the PA calibration pattern you can print.
