Filament ran out error mid print, but there is still filament on spool

I recently bought the AMS 2. I’ve been running into issues with it. Currently I had some troubles during my 5 days long multicolor printing and the AMS is not longer recognizing my spools in the app as I took them out to trouble shoot. My printing still has 2 days left.

The main issue is that I constantly get “Ran out of filament” Error for A1 slot, but there is still plenty of filament on the spool. This is making the printer try to “Purge the remaining filament” and after a while it tries to retract the rest, but it has a lot of resistance as apparently it thinks there shouldn’t be any filament in the track. This causes that I need to force out the remaining filament manually at every layer. I don’t want to cancel my print.

The filament I’m using in this slot is a Bambu lab PLA Glow
My printer is an X1C

Is there something I can do?
