I found this in my AMS when loading a new spool. Any ideas what this might be?
It’s may be from the spool roller. Check them to see if they are missing a section where the spool contacts.

Just out of curiosity, are you using a lot of paper spools?
I have occasionally used paper spools but mainly Bambu. Here’s some pictures of the messed up roller and a good one.

I’d debate the “good” ones reliability, there is a fair bit of wear and it would be replaced like a set of tyres.
I’d say @JonRaymond & @GenericUser are spot on. Looks like the end of the “messed up one”.
