You can find here a list of tcp ports used by Bambu printer:
no link because it’s forbiden
As I use a firewall, unless I config it accordingly, the only way for see my printer connected is to use my wifi phone access for both my PC and the printer and then… it’s ok.
Much more easy and professional to get an ethernet port in the printer and direct LAN access.
Hi, got my new p1s today and it got an ip from my wlan. My phone in the same wlan works fine with the printer. i can send printjobs and see the camera … But i cant connect with bambustudio on my pc (same LAN) to my printer. the printer is listed under my devices, when i hover with the mouse over the printer it says online. But when i click on the printer name it shows nothing under status, sd card … And on the left top corner theres an orange sign no connection to the server.
I turnt off my antivirus, the firewall and my pihole. nothings seems to work.
Any advice?
And logging off and on won’t fix it?
Edit: Found the Problem. My IP Adress was in a 169. … Range. Don’t know why and how it changed. In the Win 11 Settings my fixed ip (192…)was correct but on the console, ipconfig showed a 169. adress. After applying a fixed IP again, the concole showed the right Adress and the Server connection was ok.
I just got my PS1, and I am brand new to 3D printing. I can print from my phone just fine but I cannot get the server to connect no matter what I do. I tried a few things here like logging in and out a few times and reconnecting the printer. I don’t have a hotspot on my phone to try. But this is super frustrating and i dont know what to do at this point.
I am going to check my IP address like the comment above my initial post. But on another note, on the two prints I have attempted the filament has required me to manual pull it out front the back tube as it couldn’t retract back into the AMS…. okay I did that. After the second time, it kept giving me this error,
“Please pull out the filament on the spool holder. If this message persists, please check to see if there is filament broken in the extruder.
(Connect PTFE tube if you are about to use AMS)”
I have taken all filament out and reloaded it, as well as taken the entire extruder apart and changed the hotend to be safe. But I am still getting the same error and it refuses to print at all now.
Is it possible that the PTFE tubes have some tight bends between the AMS and the print head? Sometimes even the slightest curve will cause enough friction to give that error.
I am about to lose my damn mind. Last night it finally decided to print and did great during the whole 14 hour print session. It even retracted the filament, yay! Then I did a quick 10 minute print right after that, but it couldn’t retract the filament again and now I am fighting the same code. I replaced the PTFE tube inside that connects to the extruder. This thing is only 3 days old. I am not using any external spools, only the AMS. I have taken the extruder apart twice. I am at a loss.
Well I just completely disconnected the AMS and doing an external spool and all works great. No issues at all. But how do I do multiple colors with external spools?
I have been watching the printer to pause it in time to switch colors when needed, simply stuff like for a top lay of text. Everything works great this way. The AMS isn’t even a week old so if I cannot get it to work in the next few days I am returning this thing. So disappointed.
This started happening to me 2 weeks ago. I’m using MAC OS 15.3.1, Bambu Studio 1.10.02.28 and the current one before that. Router/Printer hasn’t been moved or settings changed. Bambu Handy works fine.
WOW - this just solved my ‘extremely frustrating’ issue! I received my new H2D yesterday and everything was handshaking just fine. Rebooted by laptop this morning and the ‘failed to connect to server’ message appeared. Try everything suggested; rebooting, logging out/back in, etc. Nothing worked. Made my cell phone a hotspot and then connected by laptop to it and boom, problem solved. Much obliged for the solution my friend!
