Yes, Lidar for the win.
I’ve been printing, printing, printing, new roll of another color, used default profile, sadness ensued.
But hey, whatever, I have lidar. During work, I start the calibration on the filament, getting paid while I work from home on something, calibration done, restart print. (changed to strength so layers are different height but the difference is quite clear)
So glad I bought the X1 Carbon because of it. Anyone who says the lidar doesn’t matter doesn’t print enough 
Obviously I need to work on the retraction settings but yes, win.
