I understand you.
Have you had your account checked before or is this the first time?
You have created a ticket and a dispute and, knowing life, bambu has 5 business days to respond…
False positives in automated detection of malicious activity can happen, that’s why there’s always option of requesting manual review. Don’t get discouraged just because you’ve got incorrectly flagged. If you’ve done nothing wrong then a proper manual review will clear you of wrongdoing. Check the other thread: The DANGER of boosts. What to avoid
yes this is not the first review, but is the first with new exclusive modality, and yes they have 5 day to reply
yes jonnhy, ok the error, but i stay lost all point gived from download of all my model from today for other 7 day…
A manual review that clears of any wrongdoing should also lift the point restriction and have points recounted for the period.
In my case, there are 800 exclusive points out of 4,000 normal points. I don’t know what’s going on? Maybe they check other sites to see if you’re posting a model there?
I don’t think so, I haven’t published anything elsewhere, and I also reported the illegal sites where they were uploaded not by me to the bambu copyright support service, so I haven’t really done anything wrong
I understand you. It’s really sad. I am also following the second topic about the danger of boosts (@Johnny_Bit )and I am becoming more and more terrified. In the previous weeks, two users gave 2x boosts to one model from me within a minute. And I see that bambu is not willing to discuss or admit that they may be wrong. It’s just that “the system said”. Good excuse. Is it time to fear A.I.?
There’s nothing to fear IMHO if you’ve done nothing wrong. Manual review (actual manual review, not “the system indicated” but “a person actually took their time and went through the data on their end”) should clear of any false positive detection of “point farming.”
Also - I wouldn’t be too worried. Me and multiple other creators receive multiple boosts from users (either double boost single model or boost on couple models) without any problems.
Like I said. In my current state of knowledge, I am not consciously doing anything wrong. I myself have given double boosts in a minute many times if the model was worth it. And I really never looked at whether it was a big or small creator. It seems like standard procedure, but it doesn’t bother me. It has been going on for 3 days now (yes, I know, up to 5 business days).
I redeemed points for two gift cards 2 days ago (my first time) and they are still under review as well.
I have redeemed over 127 gift cards in the past, been a while this time got stuck “Under review”.
Day 2 now.
There was the other day when the gift cards disappeared from site while they were doing maintenance. Perhaps this was part of that. A change in the system and how it operates.
Samesy for me; under review. Saw someone mention about how you can keep redeeming, and it just queues them up for review. I did that, haha. So, hopefully that’s okay.
I’m kind of wondering if it’s going to turn into every card needs to be approved type of thing. That could help catch scammers. If a user can queue up several cards so it’s just one approval for all outstanding request. They could get rid of the weekly limits.
I wouldn’t stress it.
If this is another layer to thwart scammers good for them in implantation of something finally. Although it seems to me this is cutting off the tail of the snake when more focus should be on the the initial increment of points. But maybe that is to come?
They seem to have stopped many people from redeeming, many from the forum who are clearly doing no wrong as their success is obvious and upheld by MW itself.
Dumb is as dumb does I suppose.
We see them screw everything up yet still get surprised when they screw something else up.
Lucky guy. It’s still unter review for me. And I’m trying to redeem only one gift card for now. If this one passes, I will click on the others, hoping that this check will no longer be needed and that it is general to the account, but I’m not sure about that. Then click on the remaining 9 gift cards and ask whether there will be a review or whether the system will pass them straight away.
Mine were issued last night. Took 3 days. Not a terrible delay if you know it is going to take that long.
This is where I failed. Even though I tried to redeem only one gift card from normal points, I received a message that my models do not meet the exclusivity requirements (according to Bambu rules, they are too 2D). 3 models were kicked out of the program and I lost 56 points. Okay, I accept that, but I still don’t understand being penalized by not being able to redeem my normal points. And another question: once these models have been removed from the program, will there still be checks when I try to redeem gift cards again? Time to promote the black week is slowly running out.
After reading about issues with the exclusive program, I have decided NOT to include any or my models in it, at least for now. I have some models which I am pretty confident would truly qualify under even relatively harsh analysis, but I don’t like the restrictions. I like the remix culture and don’t like the fact that the only way to participate is to preclude remixes. I understand Makerworld’s strategy with that, but I don’t think it is worth the extra 25% points to participate.
