Glue Residue from Bambu Liquid Glue

A couple of people mentioned that they use a blow torch to get rid of those marks that don’t wash off. They say it is due to stress on the plastic

The white marks are stress lines where the plastic was stretched as you were peeling it off. if you bend ABS it goes lighter on the bend. You can use a blow touch to fix that. just start far away like 100mm, the closer you are the quicker you must move it around. I used to have to do it all the time, I now use a micrscopic layer of diluted glue on the textured PEI plate. They self release with no blooming/stress lines.

Alternatives to Bambu Glue Stick

As i mentioned no residue on the bottom like from PVA glue. I often print control panel boxes for commercial clients face down with white text on a black panel and nano polymer leaves it looking perfect. Sometimes dues to too much adhesion the plastic can turn slightly grey from stress when removed, but that is easily fixed with some heat from a blow torch. Its a neat trick a a must have tool for 3D printing!
