New H2D Firmware Available for Public Beta Testing!
We’re excited to announce that firmware V01.01.02.07 for the H2D is now available through our Public Beta Program.
How to Join the Beta
To access the beta firmware, simply join the Beta Firmware Program via the Bambu Handy app under Me → Beta Firmware Program.
Once enrolled, the update will be pushed to your device gradually.
Want to Switch Back?
You can leave the Beta Program at any time by disabling the option in the app and installing the latest official firmware version.
This version brings improvements and bug fixes discovered during the V01.01.02.00 beta testing period.
Important
This firmware version requires an update for the Bambu Studio Presets. Please check the changelog before updating the firmware.

Improved the calibration success rate of liveview camera
Resolved an issue where the pre-extrusion line could occasionally adhere to the model during layer changes (please update the Bambu Studio Presets).
Fixed a collision issue between the nozzle flow blocker and the nozzle wiper when initiating flow dynamics calibration from Bambu Studio.
Known Issues:
Filament PTFE tube detachment detection is temporarily disabled.
The heatbed temperature cannot be controlled via Bambu Handy. This issue will be fixed in an upcoming new version of Handy.
It seems they’ve done it again—no update, even though I’m on the beta channel.
At times, I wonder if there’s an effort to obscure bugs, especially since many beta testers appear more focused on chasing new features than actually testing for stability.
Their selection of testers is questionable, almost as if they’re avoiding feedback on critical issues—like the current X1 Carbon firmware.
Behaviors that have the potential to damage the machine should never make it through to a stable release under any circumstances.
The thing is for me beta 1.01.02.00 improved things (I did not test 1.01.02.04) and had no issues at all. We’ll see with this newest beta.
I thought official v1.01.02.04 had been released…
The 2 issues from 1.01.02.04 beta were the purge line and the purge behaviour when calibrating flow from BS. As these improvements are included in this new beta, I suppose that when beta testers report it’s now OK, the public FW will be released.
I just received version 01.01.02.07 during the final stage of my print job—didn’t even need to power cycle this time. I’m updating now and will run calibrations and other checks afterward—then I’ll be ready to discover which bugs they’ve decided to leave unresolved.
@SupportAssistant I don’t see anything new vs 01.01.02.04? I updated to 04 last night(which seems to be working great), and read the patch notes, but it genuinely looks the same as 07.
Its even more worse. Bambus Beta Program has a slot limit, if this is exeeded, all after will be scheduled. It could take weeks. It would be nice that people who got the update would temporarely disjoin the program
Sure - so the data picked from the internal telemetry of each printer can be compared to several versions internally at Bambu. Thats a big part of evaluating flaws in software development
