I think it would have been. They could have introduced the laser as an add on a few months later. IMO, the main positive aspect would have been, people wouldn’t have felt like they are paying for development of a feature they never wanted. They still would have, but they wouldn’t have known it. Big difference. Then after the release of the laser, they would have put the dots together but the previous thoughts would likely prevail and the worry of paying for development that they didn’t want would be suppressed.
I’m actually finding this is my worse Bambu for VFAs. The two P1S’s I had, were stacking layers like champs. This is the first Bambu printer I actually noticed VFA’s on. Its not bad, but they are there. But oddly, they aren’t super consistent across the print for me. I’ll see a band or swath in the middle of a face where it fades to nothing later. A little odd, but honestly the magnitude is very low. Not sure I would have noticed them if the lighting wasn’t so good . My guess is it might be related to a specific stepper speed. But again the magnitude is so low that I’m not going to put a lot of time in to it.
