With as many times I have been wacked, I’m surprised I haven’t taken the room temperature challenge.
I wear HV gloves these days.
I would also really like a setting to lower the initial heating load. My room only has a single 15A breaker, and between my X1C, H2D, PC, and all the other accessories, the breaker trips unless I power things on in a very specific order. The H2D especially pulls a huge spike of current when it first starts heating the bed, and if anything else is already running, it immediately trips the breaker.
My house was completely renovated down to the studs, and the electrical wiring is only three years old. Unfortunately, it’s an Eichler home, which means adding a new circuit would require removing part of the roof, an extremely expensive and complicated job. Since the house was fully renovated just before I bought it, I’d rather not spend tens of thousands of dollars to run a dedicated circuit.
Instead, it would be great if there was a feature or setting that allowed us to limit or control the initial power draw.

Where in the gcode should we place your custom code for the slow ramp? Under start g code under " M140 S[bed_temperature_initial_layer_single]"?
