Remember back in the day when companies had real stock on day 1? Now we lend them our money for the production.
31Kg
heavier than k2ā¦though not that bulky
those were the good old days now itās basically treated as kickstarter all around
1,000mm/s travel speed is pretty sexy. And amazing with a toolhead like this. Im guessing the xy steppers or servos are powerful af. Hopefully we gain 100mm/s print speed avg or more
I was 100% wrong about my speed guess.
Looks to be water-soluble filament.
something not clear to me. 12 units 24 slots⦠so ams are 2 slots?
Seems like the normal AMS units are 4 slots and the AMS HT is a single slot automatic fillament dryer where you can have up to 8 of them.
I am interested to see how they handle the AMS and AMS HT with the dual nozzles.
Yes its similar to PVA but dissolves much better, but the price is a multiple of PVA. PVA leaves behind a fibrous mess, not fun to deal with.
I want to see this unobtanium PSU. Unless HT means high tech lol. 8? . something doesnt add up
Im thinking for real high temp, it would take 250-300 watts per unit. My guess is HT means 50-55c and the normal ams goes to 40-45c just to keep already drird rolls dry
a single slot? seems a crazy tangle of ptfe tubes
Iām guessing HT is high temperature. Meaning maybe the normal AMS Pro has some heating capabilities.
Iām interested to see how they handle dual nozzle with single slot AMS HT units
it has sense with this view
Edit: Please see my larger post below. Includes all information and in much better formatting for reading.
Regarding the AMS, this is also in the source, seeming that both have the option to dry.
- Filaments marked with * require higher drying temperature. The AMS 2 Pro cannot dry them completely. If you want better drying performance for these filaments, we recommend purchasing an AMS HT.
I was being sarcastic because the math doesnt add up
Yea. The HT is probably for more specialist high temp filaments like PPA-CF. Whereas the AMS pro can dry PLA/PETG and maybe even ABS/ASA.
If you guys have a dryer, look up the wattage rating. heated chamber, bed, 2 nozzles, fans, 4 ams units and 8 high temp singles. what is that, 4,000 watts lol. requires 3 wall outlets
Maybe the HT units are externally powered through a power module?
Wonder if you could do standard supports and just add a layer of BVOD between so that you can efficiently use that material, and have a clean separation.
