This is where I thought you meant you were ironing the support. That said, I would still make sure your supports are strong enough to support ironing. Look in to making the support platform stronger.
They dont NEED to support ironing, if they do their job correctly theres 10 solid layers over them. By the time ironing starts, the supports are obsolete, and the failure occures at the first 1-2 of these layers, not at the ironing, to put it like this, I havent managed to reach the ironing phase without the supports already betraying me .
Also over doesnt mean the, come on guys…Guess ill have to blame language gap
I’m gonna back out and let you figure it out. Its difficult diagnosing issues with so many wild cards in the air.
More than one year successfully printing these over and over and over prove it IS strong enough, but again thats not the issue, if the first layers are laid correctly, it WILL be solid once ironing starts, and i can assure you , the only times it failed, was by my mistake, either wet filament, or I just used different brand and forgot to check what settings I had set, and again in that case I just got a bit liney ironing, not the mess that happens now. In my case, the only thing the supports need to do is to allow the first of the 10 flat layers to be laid correctly, not lower, not higher… thats why im thinking ill go grab a roll of abs support, and check with 0 top-z. Currently at 0.12-0.14 depending on the batch, I just flick the model one cold and off they go, in one big piece. But thats on my p1p
You can believe me or not
I mean its a valid point, if I was ironing a 0.5 piece it would probably shag, but the part that is being ironed is design to act as a thick self, so it holds, dont worry i cant really troubleshoot for now… Im tramming the h2d cause I MIGHT have additionally, some bed warp… incidentally i had couple adhession issues which MIGHT have just been me , but since i double wash and used glue too, seems unlikely, and the fact that it happened all the times in the same spot ont the bed is concerning to me. Except if thats just the snake element, and I didnt realise I didnt let it heat soak, which is quite possible given the amount of hours im working.
I do believe you, that it isn’t working the same. There’s very little about the H2D that is the same as the P1S. There are significant slicing changes between the two, when comparing the current and past slicing methods. So it doesn’t surprise me to hear that its doesn’t work the same. You are clearly making significant changes to the profiles to suit your needs, as you should. I’ve gone through the thread and can’t honestly say I fully get where the problem is. So I’m going to step aside and let you guys figure it out.
I hope you get it sorted out.
From a discussion with my supplier, apparently im on the right track. I trust them as they are a Bambu reseller/licenced service point, and from what he told me, im right about the direction that Rectilinear/Rectilinear Interlaced are oriented in relation to the support structure wall.
In short, the orientation is 90 degrees vertical to the walls. This essentially focuses the stress from the nozzle in a shorter span over the long walls, which in addition to the additional layer (Support Transition Layer) add to the heat of the freshly printed support, and the result is shag.
In contrast, in Orca, the same interface patterns are by default generated with a 45 degree orientation to the walls of supports, effectively sharing the span of stress in a longer distance (on BS you put hot material close together, on Orca you spread it in bigger area) .
So we concluded that this might consist a formar report to bambu, and im now compiling my findings for said report.
Additionally , im finding Settings with the search function, that do not show up on the list.
Checked if it maybe becomes available only when choosing dedicated support filament, but nope, its hidden entirely…

why do i have a feeling that suddenly a moderator will appear like “STOP ! YOU HAVE COMMITED CRIMES AGAINST SKYRIM AND HER PEOPLE!”

they spam whatever, i slep again…
THEY BYPASS THE LIMIT? MUST …PUNISH…THE INFIDELS!
252525… is just so much easier, and I figure people here are smart enough to understand the meaning. But if it triggers you, I’ll try to remember to do it your way.
You mean its not a reference to Futurama? Big disappointment
Well, given the times we live in, it could be a coded reference to the lyrics in the song In the Year 2525:
“In the year 2525, if man is still alive”…
Or I can just suspect you are a CrispR handler, but if that was the case , youd probably teach me and bambu and anyone in this forum
Maybe it just means that BS slicer requires 2525 attempts to get it to do what you want it to?
Just trying to lighten the mood a bit. All in good fun.
Keep at it. The longer this thread goes, the more I’m learning cool new stuff. I love how everybody’s chipping in with ideas I’d not heard of before to try to help solve your problem. Very illuminating.
Illu…SWEET LIBERTY ! @hotellonely i think you know what to do !
Did someone open a window? It feels airy in here… 252525 broke the snark.
