H3C Hottend 0.4 1.75mm

Hi to all.

After saw some videos from H3C and waiting for one, where is the part i need to buy to convert 2.85mm nozzle in 1.75mm nozzle and have all nozzles same diameter ?

I dont find it anywhere in site.

Already saw birdseye camera and h3c buffer.

Cheers and many thanks to all

They have 0.4, 0.2, 0.6, and 0.8 nozzles for the H3C on their store. All you have to do is unscrew the screws mounting the existing 2.85 mm nozzle, and then install the 1.75. That lets you do full 9 color printing.

Review from CNC Kitchen says that u cant do that. U need complete tool.

For me make more sense what u say.

By the way, you can mix and swap tools and hotends to your liking. Just keep in mind that if you want more 2.85 mm tools, you need to replace the entire tool, not just the hotend. And you can’t use a 1.75 mm hotend in a 2.85 mm tool, or vice versa. The nine tools are stored on a retractable shelf at the front, where they lock magnetically into place and each nozzle tip is covered by an ooze stopper. The shelf lowers when a tool is picked up and rises again during printing. There are two reasons for that. First, the shelf obviously blocks your view of the print bed, so lifting it gives you a slightly better view. It’s still not as good as on some other machines, and there’s a reason I filmed many shots through the top side windows of the AMS.

Repeating what has been said here: you must replace the entire PrintTool rather than just changing the hotend

Also, @Josh-3D talks a little bit about ithere H3C First Impressions

and how he decided not to swap.

Edit: Bambu really should have done a directed concise write up about this procedure in the wiki. Maybe they did and I missed it or maybe it is in the works. @SupportAssistant

Many thanks. Indeed we need this to use all nozzles with 1.75

Here’s a picture showing the 2.85 vs 1.75 tool. The guide path is different. So yeah, to switch between them you have to change the whole assembly, not just the nozzle.
