GEL called me about 2 hours ago that they will be here in 40 minutes… I just called them to see where they are and they said they’ll be here in like 1.5 hours. I mean, they could’ve at least called me to give an update - I’m scheduling my day around this. Now I also understand the poor reviews and hope Bambu doesn’t use them in the future…

Still absolutely no updates on mine, it will be a week tomorrow after it was supposedly in transit. Still baffled that Bambu chose this carrier, I’ve had stuff shipped faster from US that was bigger where as here it’s only one country away.
Lol, you are asking how that is, that bambu labs uses GEL?
As normal companys do, they ask different shipping companys how much it is to ship this or that stuff. And if you order stuff, you most likely pay the price they got from one of the more expensive shippment companies.
But why should they use the expensive one, they of course ship it with the cheapest company.
It is just how it works.
That is truly scary … I would feel uncomfortable as well 
OK, my H2D Combo just now came - without any warning from transport company - I didn´t wait it just now, so very nice surprise. Ordered in EU shop on March 25.

Doesn’t matter, a 2.5k product with a 160 shipping fee should not take this long to deliver with a carrier that has possibly the worst reviews I’ve seen on all carriers in Europe. Though speed on itself doesn’t even matter that much but the fact that this carrier even has a website that most likely a 16 year old student made it, doesn’t really add any more credibility to them.
Also > I’ve sent them an email regarding a different question last week, till today there has been no reply. Great customer service as well!

Can’t make this stuff up… Just got a call from FedEx telling me my package is covered in mud. Do I still want it?

If that is real what you say, it is not even funny anymore. How could they cover the package in mud? I would not want that package. Noone knows what happened to the printer. They for sure did not take care of it.
I ordered this printer because my kid has a school project due. I’m going to take pictures and film it, and hope for the best. Can’t afford to wait at this point.

There is a “moisture proof bag” around the printer, I think the printer will be ok. A dirty box is annoying but it could be worse.

The main problem is that if he needs to return it, the box may not be suitable for re-use.
He should have them deliver it but reinspect it looking for signs of serious damage. Covered in mud might mean fell off a forklift into a ditch. Let’s hope that it was something minor like another truck drove by and splashed it while it was being transferred.

If the box is the “only” thing that’s dirty or damaged I think you’ll be fine, but of course it’s annoying.
Which is why I don’t want to turn it away if the printer is perfectly fine. I certainly will take pictures and video the opening though to ensure that the printer is in good shape.

Yeah and maybe raise a ticket now so you can refer to it later - for example - if you need to send the printer back but the box is too damaged… hopefully it’s only a splash of mud

I videoed the opening of mine. Not mud levels of distress. It was fedex though, so the box was still a bit beat up. Had a gash in one side. I find their padding is decent. I can’t imagine how some of the packages get handled to cause some of the damage people have had.

I got my today I’m at work i think I’m starting to feel sick is time to go home for the benefits of my coworkers i can isolate for a couple days.
It was so stressful waiting for this thing i was supposed to get it on Sunday but fedex has to make me suffer. I just hope everything is okay and nothing broken. 2 weeks a go a got 2 k2 and one arrived mess up broken bed and bent lead screws. I wish i knew this machine was going to come out i wouldn’t never bought the k2s. Never again creality. Bambu quality is industrial quality for the price of hobby.
I actually order my at 10:40 I forgot all about it and i check and it said unavailable i close the window and opened again and it let me add it to my cart was trying to get 2 but it only let me add one and after purchase it showed unavailable.
Box is designed for return. Instructions on the top of the box. The white handles lock the box and should be retained.
The large outer box folds to reduce storage volume if preserved for possible return.
My box was in excellent condition, but missing one white handle. Excellent packaging in my inexpert opinion.
