Has your H2D Shipped?

Unpacked. I saw no damage. Powered on. Initial calibration takes 1 hour 19 minutes, with the option for an additional 30 minutes of high temperature bed leveling compensation.

FYI: Outer shell is plastic, not aluminum like on the X1C. Front door and lid appear to be glass, but side windows appear to be plastic also. Power cord for the H2D was packaged inside the AMS Pro.

Your box looks dented. Is everything still in one piece inside?

From my side: The status of my delivery jumped 10 mins after I sent a never answered email to the “we will call you” status and 30 mins after that GEL called. It should arrive tomorrow between 11:00 and 15:00. Which means I cant start testing because I just flew abroad for a business trip.

Looked terrible, but was packaged very well, and is now calibrating.

It indeed looks terrible, but not as muddy as I expected. But the fact it is still in one piece is a testament to the packaging

Mine didn’t come with straps like yours did, not that it would have mattered.

I wish they included a slightly beefier power chord. I guess the one they provided is fine, but it’s not the one I used.

Yes, that and it’s too short. I thought 6 feet was more or less the normal standard, but this is about half that.

Dang, that definitely fell off the conveyer belt and got ran into 17 times with a forklift. :astonished:

You’ll definitely want to video the unboxing, as alluded to earlier in this thread.

Yep, pulled a 6ft cord from my pile of cables, and in goes this 3ft cord.

Also completely missed the box with all the instructions and tools hidden in the top of the lid.

For those unboxing in the future, there is more in the box and more in the AMS unit.

A bit surprised it came with a single spare 0.4mm nozzle.

Haha, this happened to me too.

One thing I noticed/realized. Unlike the X1, P1, there was no sample rolls of filament. One of my favorite things about the X1 was that it had two big beefy sample rolls to enjoy.

My X1’s have only ever come with half full PLA spools. I have a stack of the “PLA support” still seal in packaging.

Yeahhh, hehe, but it was a decent amount. I mean compared to printers past where the sample they provided was just trash can filler.

Also not sure if this is like the X1C where you get random build plates, but mine came with the textured plate.

Bambu is getting cheap no extra stuff for first buyers

Possibly, but as someone coming from a MendelMax 2.0, I’m blown away.

Looks like a 34% tariff is on the way for US buyers.

If Bambu doesn’t subsidize any of that, the base H2D just went up $650+ (at least for the units that are not in stock currently). Sorry guys, that is painful.

They’ve smashed it to pieces, haven’t they?

Ouch… my money would be a drop and a sound of broken glass. Best wishes.

Best of luck, it is packaged very well. Serious overkill, but I guess they knew this :poop: would happen.
