I just had this issue and I went through many of the same troubleshooting steps with no success. And then, I re-seated my magnetic build plate properly because it was misaligned and the issue went away haha. Start with the simple checks first!

For me it was the twisted PTFE Tubes… I placed my
AMS lite on a shelf Above the A1, and accidentally plugged the PTFE tubes the wrong way…

Problem solved…

I solved mine Z-homing issue with properly reinstalling PTFE tubes since I changed the position of printer and put AMS on a different place, and tubes were bent too much…

As explained in official troubleshooting wixi…just look for “External force detected mid-air by the nozzle”

Friends, if anyone can help, I’m having some kind of problem with my printer out of the box, and the Z-axis is failing.

  1. The seller gave me a new TH

    -MС board, a new motherboard, and even a head with a vortex sensor, but nothing worked.

  2. All cables have been checked, and any blockers have been removed.

  3. I’m not a 3D expert, but I’m not an idiot and I understand electronics.
    But it doesn’t work. Unfortunately, I can’t return the product because I didn’t buy it from an authorized store.

I am also facing the same issue that z axis homing failed

Tried all the things in 2 days but the problem is very little

the bracket on which the nozzle is fixed is losing. Very easy way to fix it

  1. Remove the nozzle

  2. Remove the three screws with big ln key provided with your kit

  3. Tighten the all small screws underneath the bracket .
    And thats all its really works it happens because of the vibration the printer makes . Some friends have changed the whole extruder but thats not the right way

    hopefully you ill get out of it

I am having the exact same issue on my brand new P1S out of the box. Error 0300-4000 102008. I have uploaded logs and videos but my ticket US260705394001 has been stuck on ‘In Progress’ for 3 days without any response. Can a moderator please escalate this ticket? The printer is DOA.

For a P/X series printer, double check that you have removed all of the screws that hold the bed in place for shipping. They are marked with red arrows. The bed will not home with these in place.

I’ve done all of that—carried out every possible step as instructed—but nothing works. It’s a shame that this is happening with a brand-new device.I’ve become disheartened, and Bambu Lab’s support in this regard is truly abysmal. After sending in photos, videos, and log files, I’m getting absolutely no response at all. I am genuinely disappointed, and I really hope that—since it was a DOA case—everything will be resolved.

Thanks. I had this on a brand new printer on the initial calibration run. All axes would move, the Z axis would move all the way up, and then this error was shown. Redoing the USB/cable assembly seems to have solved it. Pretty sure I did nothing wrong the first time, but maybe the bolt was a little too tight and the USB connection a little too sensitive, or one of the other connectors a little loose – who knows.

If it helps anyone else (as there seem to be multiple causes for this error), there were also two warnings in the on-screen troubleshooting section for me. Can’t remember exact wording, but one suggested a reboot (may have been something like a general toolhead malfunction), and one was about an extruder sensor malfunction I think. Both disappeared immediately after the fix.

I have this same problem I have tried basically everything I even factory reset it I

think that the problem is that the hot end heating tool is broken and covered in plastic I’m getting a new one I’ll let you know how it goes

i fixed the problem if you at some point had to take your filament sensor cable out and unscrewed the back of the toolhead you need all 3 screws back in because of the electrical curents
