Does anyone know what hot end is installed on new P1S units and what is included in the parts box? From what I understand the types are steel, hardened steel and stainless steel. Thanks.
Should be stainless steel.
For spares, you should have a packet of thermal grease and bearing grease (easy to confuse too), some PTFE tube, an unclogging pin tool (acupuncture needle I believe), a couple of Allen keys, some screws, magnet and blade to make the scraper, and a couple of spare nozzle wipers.
Thanks then it comes with two stainless nozzles. They do work well.
I know the topic is half a year old now… but I’m a little bit confused. Has this changed lately? I just got my brand new P1S these days and the Nozzle in the spare parts box, is the one mentioned here (with the grey cooler). But the one built in has a much darker cooler… almost black… Isn’t this supposed to be the hardened steel?

I saw a post saying they come with hardened now, and a reply saying no they don’t 
I asked support if they come with hardened and they said yes!
The spare nozzles are only available in hardened in 0.4mm and above, so I suspect a running change is being made.
My machine came with a stainless hot end fitted, and a spare stainless nozzle in the box. You can check with a magnet on the nozzle tip.
