I don’t understand. Are you saying it should work like that? I have noticed some other odd things. if you check every box above GAP INFILL then the GCODE display will toggle on and off depending on GAP INFILL being checked or not. Do you think it’s suppose to be like that? Anyway thanks for your time and attention to this. I think the code for the conditions of displaying the GCODE needs to be looked at. Just my opinion but maybe I’m wrong or it could be all those gummies.
There has to be a bug. If I change models, the unchecked box that activates the G-code box also changes.
Using the model I linked above, unchecking Outer Wall for Plate 1 is the only one that activates the box, for Plate 2 it is Sparse Infill, for Plate 3 it is Gap Infill.
The first time I saw the error it was with a Primitive cube, and Sparse infill was the item triggering the box. I just repeated with an identical cube and now the trigger is Top surface.
Experimenting more, the trigger for a model even changes at times if you continue turning display items on and off. I created a primitive sphere. Initially, I could not trigger the bug. After checking/unchecking random types, Travel became a trigger. Continuing to test combinations, the trigger changed to Outer wall, then Gap infill, then Bridge, then Top surface. Turning one of these off activated the G-code box without moving the horizontal slider at all. The old trigger no longer activated the box.
Great! I was worried about maybe having to cut back on my gummies!
Two more questions:
- How do we get this bug back to Bambu Studio developers?
- How can I get a cool user name? Everybody has cool user names and I just get Prisoner_1046477408. It’s like being back in the slammer!
Again thanks for everything and have a great day!!!
Thanks everybody! I will soon be known as DrTom. Be happy! Be great! Love everything!
I finally found time to submit a bug report:
