Hello all,
even though I disabled the tips in the configuration, they still appear every time. How can I completely disable them?
I am using the version 2.7.4.57 on a Windows machine.

Hi, sorry to say this seems to be a bug in the latest release version. Disabling the tips used to work as expected before this one. You could try collapsing one and see if it stays collapsed, but IIRC that doesn’t work anymore either (for several versions at least).

The daily tips and the warnings that I don’t need are a serious pain…
I don’t care if PETG-CF isn’t compatible with the cool plate, I don’t even have that filament used for this model.
I don’t care if arc fitting has been disabled, etc.

Yea I’m not sure how many of BL’s Studio developers actually use the software on a daily basis. I’m guessing none. This is a common issue in the software world in general, unfortunately.
IMHO at least in “advanced” or “develop” mode all the popups should have the ability to be disabled. They’re so disruptive, and easy to overuse if developers don’t have an overall picture of users’ workflows. The issue is compounded by the single-page Preferences window, which is already absurdly long, and the lack of any unified “don’t show this again” functionality in the code (every current case is handled individually, which is inefficient and harder to implement for every new warning/dialog).

Well, I guess I’ll have to wait for the next update and hope the bug gets fixed.
With the recent update to version 2.7.1.62, nothing has changed. The configuration is still being ignored, and there is still no option to disable the unnecessary daily tips.
This Daily Tips popup is obscene. This started with the previous release and it’s NOT fixed in the latest one. Nothing I’ve tried will hide it for good. What a joke. Back to the the older version, again.
