With the recent bump to 100 point deduction curbed a few but there are still people trying to game the system.

Just recently I’ve seen a person outright state something along the lines of “reupload for contest” in the name of the model they added to contest… That seems kina on the nose…

I’ve made some other stuff, that takes me a bit of time as I’m learning. It sucks when I’ve spent hours on doing something someone else could do easily, and upload to a contest only to see it get lost amongst the illegitamate entries. I KNOW I have no chance of winning. My thrill really is seeing someone, anyone, appreciate it. I begin to feel less thrilled when I see it getting buried under drivel.

Which one isn’t? Looking at contest overall I think the average garbage to on-topic ratio is around 1:20. If Bambu/MW would enforce contest topic and add samples what fits/doesn’t fit the theme then I guess the ratio would drop, but there’s no chance there’s ever a contest where every entry actually fits the theme (unless the theme is “anything goes!”)

I’ve noticed the Contest Winner announcements have been pushed back a few days for the past few contests and I genuinely believe it’s due to the overwhelming spam models that are entered into contests and not deleted.
