Unfortunately this was why I returned my 4 day old X1C and why I haven’t bought a replacement. For some reason most people don’t seem to see them or don’t see them as a problem, for £1,100 I certainly did. BL also seem to see this as acceptable and are not able to fix it. The weird part though is some are better than others.

One fudge is to run a VFA tower to see where it’s worse and avoid those speeds. As you’ll see from mine, I didn’t bother doing this as it was quite bad at a lot of the speeds.
Disappointing as I really liked the machine and I’ve struggled to find a suitable alternative. If I could guarantee I’d receive a good one, I’d buy another.
You could raise a ticket, they’ll give you some files to run which helps them to identify any problems (they worked out mine had a faulty accelerometer to fix the ringing but not the vfa’s). Hopefully this will find something wrong and they’ll fix it for you.
