In kickstarter update #5 it says shipping starts may 15th, is that still the case, or is shiping delayed?
Shipping starts
This means someone looks at the order, locates the parts, puts them in a box, prints a label puts it into a pile and repeats until there are sufficient to make a full (or partial) palette.
At that point the orders are then put on a plane, train or automobile (John Candy is not involved though).
You then expect them to take as long as it does to get from where the shipping port began to where it ends up, it then gets passed to a local courier.
You then have the time it takes for that company to get the box to you.
Importantly, your package will ship in the same order you purchased it^. If you got in early, you will get it before those who purchased later.
^ Considerations to bulk shipping may mean some orders will be sent before those who purchased it earlier.
All of this is based on common shipping solutions. Some of these steps may have occurred already.
I did not think about that, thanks!
What services do they normally use to ship to USA, west coast? I was in the first 100 backers so I assume it would be shiped out fairly early
I do not have that answer.
It usually depends on cost. A ship is far cheaper than a plane.
However, smaller shipping orders can often be squeezed into planes for a reduced cost.
It is the flip of the coin.
I see, hopefully we hear from them soon about how they are proceeding with shipping.
I was on the shipping side of this in a previous life. International fulfillment can take 3 months sometimes. Not saying it will, but it can.
There’s also the consideration with kickstarters, as to whether or not they have manufactured sufficient. In which case late kickstarters might be awaiting factory production.
I would hope they have it manufactured, considering it was put on there website today as well.
Is not hearing about shipping updates a good thing?
They say “No news, is good news.”
My concern here is the number of delays to the project so far and lack of information throughout the process.
As a recipient of a review unit that doesn’t work with the new mobile and desktop apps and can’t generate a config compatible with uploading models which do not even provide the config upload option as they haven’t been rolled out to everyone. Including me, an owner of a review unit that you would anticipate would have been automatically enabled.
They also do not answer any questions.
Bambu Lab != Communication.
I agree with that, I was surprised to see them comit on there website to start shiping the parts purchased via the website before june 2nd.
And the L communication too
Considering that’s only 2 weeks away, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ll only get our orders by then.
I don’t think they’re allowed to do that.
I was reading Kickstarter’s rules, which state that campaign creators must keep backers updated at all times about any delays or progress related to rewards.
So even if shipping is being delayed by just a week, they’re required to inform us.
Kickstarter doesn’t really have a way to hold creators to regularly update once the funding has been released, they can suggest it but that’s about it. It’s been my experience that once Kickstarter gets their cut, they are really hands off.
What about if they did start shipping? I feel like they should have sent out an update
Hey there
I am a teacher from Switzerland and I can’t wait for CyberBricks to arrive. I want to push the idea further and bring 3d-printing and CyberBricks to swiss-schools. Does anybody know if there will be a commercial license for CyberBrick as I am interested in selling hardware as well as the 3d-printed parts.
Greetings from Switzerland
Im not saying I like it, but to me, getting anything kickstarter related in under a year is a miracle
@CyberBrick
We have not received any response to our previous inquiries .
In our country, importing any goods requires providing a personal ID number, but the PledgeBox survey system does not allow us to submit this information.
We have also asked when we will be required to provide our ID , but have received no replies whatsoever —and there have been no updates regarding the shipping progress either!
This situation is truly frustrating and disappointing.

This will likely be a secondary step in shipping processing. Pledgebox is not a shipping coordinator, it’s a pledge manager. Once they’ve figured out their regional shipping partners, those companies will likely reach out to people and get relevant information
I am reading some of the comments on the kickstarted and seems some people’s rewards have started getting shiped out.
