Surprisingly, the white PETG Basic came out as matte as HF and it’s much whiter. Are the darker colors more glossy like the PETG should be? Thanks
Just a quick note: The glossiness depends also on the print settings you use, so you can adjust it yourself within the realm of possibility. Of course, this doesn’t make a matte filament shiny, or vice versa.
Unfortunately, I don’t have anything else to compare it with in terms of PETG at the moment, just Silk PLA, but I think this illustrates my point:
Bambu itself illustrates its new PETG white with this reference photo:
However, you ask for dark colors?
I’ve only tried the black and blue Basic so far, and they’re both noticeably more glossy, or less matte, than the HF versions. I’m not sure I’d call them “glossy” per se… semi-matte or satin would be closer IMHO. Print lines are a little more obvious, for example, but nothing drastic. Sorry I don’t have any photos or examples to show off at the moment.

Printed a bunch of parts in PETG Basic white and they came out fairly matte finish.
Also not as high quality as I get out of PETG HF. Might need to tune it to get better results. Prints were acceptable though.
