K-Value with 0.2 nozzle at AMS

Hello!

I tried to calibrate the K-value for a 0.2 nozzle this morning. This also works, but the value is not transferred to the AMS.

After several attempts, i suspected that because the K-value is saved together with the nozzle size, only K-values for 0.4 nozzles can be selected in the AMS. So i generated the same K-value for a 0.4 nozzle and lo and behold, the K-value is adopted in the AMS view and can then, also be selected in the drop-down list.

I have not yet found a way, to tell the AMS the size of the nozzle, so that the appropriate calibration profiles can then be selected.

Kind regards

The k value is selected on the printer. There is a setting for the printer where you select your nozzle size. According to the nozzle size you set in the printer setting those k values will available for filaments for external spool or AMS. AMS does not need to know your nozzle size the printer does. You can change it in the maintenance tab on the printer.

I realise that the AMS does not need to know this, but Bambulab presents it this way in the view. That’s why I described it that way.

According to the nozzle size you set in the printer setting those k values will available for filaments for external spool or AMS.

That’s exactly what doesn’t work.

Although I am printing with a 0.2 nozzle and all settings have been made accordingly for the 0.2 nozzle, I can only call up the settings for the 0.4 nozzle in this dialogue. I have labelled them accordingly. The setting for the 0.2 nozzle does not appear.

Unbenannt

Here is the setting for the 0.2 nozzle:

And here is the setting for the 0.4 nozzle:
