Latest 01.05.00.00 firmware broke calibration from Bambu Studio?

I had calibrated profiles and had gaps and noticeable issues with Pressure Advanced. When I went back to previous version the prints looked good again.

I also had to downgrade the firmware right now too. Don’t they test their stuff before releasing it?

edit:

Immediately after downgrading the firmware, I am unable to start a regular printer calibration (“Calibrate” on the printer display menu).

I’m getting hit with

HMS_0300_0300_0001_0001
… and the calibration is stuck at “Auto-Calibrating … 0%”

How the hell do I un-brick this printer now? It seems downgrading was a mistake.

→ Edit2: A stupid coincidence. I had a connector plugged in the wrong way the whole time.

I have no problem with my P1S and new fw. I am using only orca.
The Calibration is much longer now and do new moves.
Print quality seems to be even a little better.
I didn’t check the cali0bration, but @pgpac1 wrote already its still working.
Only my personal Start and End G-Code in Orca were corrupted after update. Needed to put it in again.
So I stay with 1.05.00.00
But I will check the pressure advance. Due to the low noise mode (maybe they changed the stepper control) it could be different now.

I have this same issue, I tried 3 different times. Even restarted printer, Bambu slicer and logging out and in.

Look they just released 01.05.01.00 Firmware which, according to the release notes, should fix the calibration stuck issue

Where did you find the release notes? I’ve been looking all over for them.

I clicked the “Release Notes” Link in the Bambu Studio Update Tab

The wiki also has them but often it often lags behind the actual updates.

Flow Dynamics works for me with the update to 01.05.01.00 but Flow rate still don’t work for me. Is Flow rate working again for you?

The Link “Release Notes” opens a new window here, but it stays empty:

Also, the release notes page in the Wiki hasn’t been updated yet. So, I’ll wait a little… @JonRaymond 's information worries me a little.

Release notes updated for 01.05.01.00.

Updated to this new version busy testing now

Waiting for calibration to complete

New firmware update, I always wait a while for that, also applies to my PC and cameras. Because there are often problems with it.
Hopefully it works fine now with the bug fix.

There is no mention if the issues around PA being off were fixed. Anyone test if PA is accurate?

Hey, i dont know how to make a post as many others. I just want to know how i can disable auto bed leveling and poop shoot in Bambulab slicer. It happens before every print. Thanks

I don’t think you can disable the purge “poop shoot” in the beginning but bed leveling can be disabled when you select “Print plate” another window pops up and you uncheck the box before you hit send.

you can if you remove it from the machine gcode

Very true. I didn’t think of that when responding. Was totally on a checkbox checked or not thought process.

After this update, I’ve noticed that my seams are SUPER ugly and blobby. I did re-enter the K value so this definitely isn’t the problem. I reverted back to the last previous firmware version and prints are back to normal.

Has anyone else noticed print quality issues after the update??

Tried the upgrade, ran calibration, adjusted K value manually in Orca. Unless it’s my garage temperature (it’s down to 60, 48 outside in San Diego) I’m losing bed adhesion after about 10mm of height on both PEI plate and Hotplate.

Downgraded, but still having issues with bed adhesion, so I think my ambient temp is causing those issues.
