We’re excited to introduce Bambu Lab Academy—a new platform designed to help you get the most out of your printer! On this platform, we plan to create detailed courses to guide you from the very beginning of unboxing the printer, to teaching you more advanced topics related to hardware and software.
We’re kicking things off with the A1 mini Course, the perfect starting point to learn the ins and outs of your printer. This is also our first step in building a library of helpful content for other printers and software we’re offering, and your feedback will play a big role in shaping future courses to make them even better!
To make learning even more rewarding, you’ll earn MakerWorld points as you complete different stages of the course. Plus, we’re working on multi-language support, starting with English and Chinese, with more to come.
Check out the Bambu Lab Academy by following this link. We currently consider this launch to be a “beta phase” where we continue to gather feedback and improve.
We’d love for you to try it and share your thoughts about what we did right, and what we could improve in future iterations of the course! Share your feedback below.
We hope you find it helpful and enjoy your printer as much as we love creating them for you!
As one of the first graduating students of the inaugural Bambu Lab Academy I would like to say I found it informative and enjoyable. I’ve added it to my 3D printing resume and now I’m off to apply for a 3D printing job to pay off these student loans.
i liked it, but i have to say i don’t see why it’s divided into intermediate and advanced… they all look beginner to me, but well explained and laid out, certainly see it being very useful to people starting out in 3d printing with the a1 mini (which i really like btw, it’s my goto for TPU )
The course could seem a bit simple to more experienced users, but we believe it brings a lot of value to beginners that can learn more about how to use their A1 mini and get familiar with it and the terms related to 3D printing.
No worries. We are also thinking about challenging 3D printing experts in the future
Well, I did a lot of trainings in this kind of style in the past in different areas (mostly business software). And I can say, that this “tutorial” from Bambu is well made, thanks for that.
Yes, it is more or less “beginner”-level, but if all of us would really take care about all mentioned points, the success rate of prints would increase. I think it is a perfect way, maybe recommend the beginner part already in the unboxing part of your printer and remind to the other two parts a few weeks later.
Definitely another way of getting points but not what I myself would’ve wanted to see necessarily added. I’m still awaiting a full revamp of the rewards available currently which 2 have been since day 1.
I’d also like to see in this “Academy” more real troubleshooting scenarios. Provide actual events and support tickets that have been sent to bambu customer service, this could provide more real interaction with users experiencing issues/troubleshooting steps.
It’s a good course that will at least get users familiar with terms and procedures. It should help get new users more up to speed on things that matter for good prints.
kind of weird this answer shows as wrong
The Auto-Calibration procedure should be repeated when there is a decrease in print quality, after maintenance has been performed, or when the printer location changes.
Using BL printers for 2 years and other models for over 10 years, I skipped all chapters and only made the quiz at the end.
Nevertheless I like the idea and the tutorials. Very good information for new users. A lot of questions won’t appear in the forum when all new users make the courses, especially cleaning build plates and drying filament.
I like the idea of the +50 points to let people make the courses. Another incentive would be a certificate (as PDF).
I think they are just changing the test up a little to be less predictable? I think it was the one causing you the problem has all four answers correct and needs all four to be counted as correct. But there also was one marked as possibly multiple answers that had just one answer too.
They may of changed the last two (multi choice) to must be every answer / reason given , Still i think its a good course and what every new to printing hobbyist should put themselves through.
This is such a good idea Bambu Lab team! This needs to be promoted on all of the social media platforms so there are not so many redundant questions from newcomers. I know I’ll probably drop the link to the academy when questions come up facebook beginner groups. Cheers!
Just completed the course. Well done Bambu Lab team
Even if I’m not new in 3D printing I went through all teh chapters and I have to admit that the way it’s explained and the contents it’s very interesting. Sure new comers will really enjoy it
Looking forward now for P1 series and more adavanced courses
