I opened a trouble ticket on the first. It is now the ninth about the lidar giving off failing errors. I got a message saying your ticket has been lodged on the 3rd. On the 5th I received instructions to follow wiki and that it is maybe due to lose cables to the lidar. I did this I think 4 or 5 times the next two days and still receive the lidar failing. I sent a message asking for more help on the seventh and have not heard anything.
As per wiki I tried to unplug all the cables going to the lidar, well due to the over amount of glue one of the connectors broke.
I then sent pictures and videos of the problem on the 7th.
How do I get support to respond to this issue? I have provided all they have asked for including pictures, videos, a narrative, and a warranty request to supply the parts necessary to fix the lidar and get my printer back up and running.
I have purchased every spare part they have for sale, knowing that things break. This one is not for sale and it appears they do not want to address the issue. I do not have a working printer until they resolve this issue. Just poor customer service!
There is a replace-micro-lidar guide as well as a TH Board Set V9 (Dual Red Laser) and a other Version so called TH Board Set V9 (Single Red Laser) a Micro Lidar Cover and as noted in the previous post I do not found a lidar replaicment as well.
Thanks for getting back to me. The trouble ticket has pictures of a lidar unit that has a broken connector. I need at least a full lidar unit. I sent pictures of the qr codes on the board so maybe someone can find out which version I have. I need the cover and internal parts for the lidar.
All I know for sure is that I need a new Lidar unit to fix the broken connector issue. I do not know if it will fix the underlying issue of the lidar faailing
They sent me new boards and a new lidar unit. I installed them as per instructions.
It did not fix the issue. Still receiving a message that says failed to calibrate lidar.
sometimes I receive a message that the nozel is too high. they is not buildup on the nozell
went back one firmware release and it looks like the only error i get now is the failure of lidar to calibrate and to check the calibration chart is clean and run calibration again.
the usb cable is very lose, it looks like the female plug on the board is just not gripping the male end well enough it is much looser than before

Informing Bambulab about the existing problems and if they do not solfe it - calling the credit card company or Paypal or both of them and clame back the money if you can? How old is you X1C?
Today I have another discussion with a P1P user who also owns another machine, a older Creality. He has problems with the level unit of the older Creality - he can’t get it right with spare parts. Then I showed him how quickly I could change an entire print head on the S1 Pro of Creality for 47 USD and the discussion about what to look out by a new printers was over. Furthermore, two cheap ones that you can swap parts with each other to see what is defective are worth a lot.
I do not want any money, this is a warranty issue.
They sent me parts to fix it and the lidar unit is bad the LED light does not work on it. So the lidar cannot read the lidar configuration tag or the bed tags.
All I want is for them to answer my ticket and send me new parts to fix it.
There is no reason that I should not have gotten an answer today, I sent them lot and I mean lot of information yesterday from about 8 hours of testing.
This is an open ticket so someone should have seen it early this morning and given me a reply
I really do not want to wait three days to get a reply and than ask for more info thus I would not receive a part until next weekend, making my printer not fully operational for another week
Then you may have to wait for a response from customer service. Circuit board to which the lidar is connected?
Troubleshooting is always very, very nerve-wracking… the only thing that helps is to stay cool and keep looking until you find it. Bambulab may also rack his brains about it. The first time it happens (first case), answers always take longe.
Any updates on how your situation was resolved? We replaced lidar module and TH board one at a time with no fix. Next thought was a factory reset to try out.

Very surprising and a big plus on the plus side. At the beginning I had complaining about the fact that this spare part was not available, but now you can get it.
