Bed shape pics? I am not sure I understand that.
No I can’t see any differences in reflectivity.
I have tried the cool plate and the textured pei-plate so far. Same results for both. I will try the engineering plate too.

In the early days, there were bed warping issues with the X1. Hughe thread here: Warped bed :( seems like a common QC issue
There are limits as to what people can do at home, but there are some rather grafic examples using a steel ruler and a flashlight in the thread. Bambu seems to have resolved it, but there’s always a chance to just be unlucky.
Yes. Gone that path with Creality before.
I dealt with Bambu support once in the past. Tons of information requested by them, but nothing much came out of it.
I am contemplating to write off the X1C and going for a Prusa XL instead. I had high hopes for the x1c but it hasn’t lived up to it.
Thank’s for all the help!
Don’t write it off just yet. I did go through that tedious process myself. Lidar rather than heat bed though. It took half a year, but I ended up with a warranty replacement
My experience is that chinese companies apply an “around-the-corner” warranty. I had huge problems with my Pimax Crystal VR-headset. It wasn’t possible to even start it. I had to fight them for8 months before they finally sent me a replacement cable for it. I’m not willing to walk that path again.
If I don’t get the X1C to work as advertised, it will instead be the last Chinese product I ever buy. I can accept that cheap Chinese products behave like this, but both Bambu Lab and Pimax charge premium prices and then the expectations are higher. I can get an EU or US product for the same price, a product that has been tested properly and comes with a REAL warranty.
