As for makerworld and the community tab: they announced 2nd community tab based contest, probably aiming at increasing popularity of the community tab, but that won’t make a difference.
A difference would be made and people would use it more if the moderation and anti-spam measures were more active. Honestly, I think even hellhole such as 4chan has more active moderation team.
In support of a thief lol. I looked at some of his models and he is posting stolen models in the exclusive program. He just removes the Top/bottom layers and that’s it.
I saw some of that drama last week. He did the same treatment to a back scratcher and it worked it’s way into trending before getting booted. Now all the 12 year olds in the community (or just various alt accounts for all we know) are upset for him and trying to rally MW to give the points back.
This is a poor attempt at selling a “work from home” get rich quick scheme. First, I need it presented through a late night infomercial. Second I need him to be standing in front of a rented Lamborghini that is parked in front of a rented mansion. Third, don’t tell me you’ve only been doing it 5 months?! I need to hear you’ve been doing it for years.

I’ve reported some obvious rip offs. One thing’s for sure - so far none of the boost beggars i have blocked seemed to turn into a decent makerworlder. As evidenced by tberg here: went from community spammer and boost beggar into model thief.
