They could still call it a duplicate. The way I did it was right. Someone is reporting me. Makerworld isn’t looking they’re just deleting. Because those were two different models. With a user comment saying the holes were too small. Which the holes were fine. But I made bigger for those that might want them bigger. I even added a picture of the sketch I changed plus the real picture.
Since it’s a minor variation, I’d uploaded it as a print profile. It will be easier for user to find it and it will be harder for people to reported as a duplicate. Just make sure to upload a different and new picture for this second profile.
I did upload a different “real” pic. In a second profile. I used Picsart to take the background out. But it missed some green from my pool table in the middle hole. But they said it’s fake. I lost the appeal but they’ve actually been good to me. I think. They haven’t punished me by taking points or banning me. Although my downloads slowed tremendously.
You say you live in a trailer, but, have room for a pool table. Excuse my ignorance, but, I was under the impression trailers are not the ideal space for a pool table and extra for the pool cues to be used.
You implied you had insufficient space in your domicile to take photos. I am confused by the apparent conflicting descriptions.
OT, what those words mind together? Non native English speaker here.
I guess that was meant to be “trailer house”, or mobile home (?).
A typo then. Thank you.

“This profile was taken down due to the absence of a clear physical print picture.”
I hope there is a silly AI taking these decisions…
Dunno, but in case of you other models you ought to add real print to the Print Profile. For example in MQ30 you have 1 image in profile and it’s not enough but if you add the 3rd photo from model’s gallery to print profile it’ll be ok.
Current rules are such that model images and cover photo can all be renders, but print profile must have at least one real photo of the printed model. It doesn’t matter if there are real photos in model’s gallery.
Thanks, indeed this might be the reason…
I had the same problem, i think someone just mass reported all my print profiles and now i have to do so much work to restore it all and be able to use my own print profiles, i will, as an alternative upload all my profiles twice, so i have one for public viewing and one private for me only because its really bloody frustrating to have your hard work taken down just over small details like a physical picture, plus if they just add an option on the mobile handy app to add photos to a profile, this whole issue wouldnt occur. PUT ADDING PICTURES TO PROFILE TO HANDY APP PLEASE!!!
rules are rules. Rule isn’t new and you had enough time to update them.
It’s really easy to not have models removed for lack of an actual photo - include actual photos.
Bambu has explained why this is so. It’s their platform and their rules. Presumably you post models here because you want their money.
maybe so, but its not okey to delete my work!!! just force my profiles on private instead, its really demotivating for me to go and reupload when they can just change their mind and make up other bs reasons to delete users work… i honesty am considering to just stop using makerworld for my own work and just take it all off and use other platforms.
Works for me, works for everyone else. Must be a you problem
That’s a great idea.
also to quote your comment on makerworld.
As per guidelines you accepted:
It happens that the AI sorts out wrongly. Normally this can be easily fixed with an appeal (as long as you don’t just get stupid text modules back and a real human communicates with you and read your texts).
I was confused at first or didn’t realise that the profiles are decoupled from the model here on Makerworld. Before i was only on thingiverse. I uploaded a model and created the profile for it in the same step. I only hat 1 File for the model - what was also the printprofile. I had all the real images in the model description, so I only uploaded one image from Fusion and one from Bambustudio to the profile itself. For me, the two belonged together.
It was only later that I realised what print profiles actually represent here and that they don’t necessarily have to come from the model owner / Uploader. Happens
I understand your view on this but if they just made them private, some would flip them back public when the coast was clear.
It looks like you have no print profiles and only upload model files. Those shouldn’t need photos and can be just renders - or could. Bambu does change rules and then enforce them. No idea if that’s what has you now or if you had 3mf files posted without photos.
At any rate, you are smart to keep copies just in case.
What they are trying to do is reduce the number of people who think the printer is junk because they try to print something the designer never printed and which can very easily be unprintable. That causes service calls and upset printer buyers who want to know why their printer can’t print stuff on their own website.
They just want proof a model can be printed. It’s not a big ask.
You’re being prejudice. You think trailers are all 10 feet wide and 60 feet long? Mines 40 feet wide and 80 feet long. It’s like a house.
I never implied anything close to this. My Trailer is bigger than most houses.
Firstly, you did.
Secondly after I responded to your description of your property, you said you appreciate my advice.
Yet, now, months later, you seem to take offence at something that was t offence then and still isn’t now.
You were rude back then about the help and advice you received from me, there is no need to pretend anything changed since.
Don’t try putting words in my mouth, they came from your finger tips.
I mentioned no size, you mentioned no size, you stated you had no room in your trailer and I questioned why you you couldn’t use your pool table as the location you used to take photos on.
You said you had no room, but, you had a pool table which is more than sufficient a work surface for a photography background. That was the conflict you appear to only now find confusing and weirdly insulting where no such insults were made.
It was YOUR conflicting descriptions of YOUR dwelling, I never once suggested a measurement or a disbelief you couldn’t fit a pool table.
You may wish to read what you wrote before faking or misrepresenting something nit said by someone offering you help you thanked me for at the time!
